MEETING:  The next meeting will be on March 19, 2016, at the Courtyard by Marriott, 9550 Seawall Blvd.,starting at 8:30 AM  for breakfast burritos and the meeting starting at 9:00 AM

PROGRAM:  We are pleased to have the Galveston Parks Board of Trustees with Executive Director Kelly de Schaun, Director of Operations Reuben Trevino, and Park Board Trustee Clyde Steadman, present what is happening at the Parks Board on the following topics:

·         Best Practices for Beach Maintenance

·         Seawall Beach Nourishment and “Babes Beach”

·         RESTORE funds from the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill

·         Pocket Park 3 and Pocket Parks programs

·         Beach User Fee increase

Plus other topics in what the Parks Board is doing for Galveston Island.  Come hear about the latest and greatest with the Parks Board and bring your neighbors and friends to this very important meeting.
